HArtalega convention centre

The convention centre for Hartalega is a sleek, purpose-built facility that blends functionality with architectural elegance. Set against a serene lakeside backdrop, the building is lifted off the ground with sculptural V-shaped columns, creating a floating effect that enhances its visual prominence and elevates its sense of arrival. The architectural language emphasizes simplicity and clarity, employing a "white box" concept for its main auditorium—a column-free space that supports a variety of large-scale gatherings and events.

The façade design is minimal yet refined, featuring vertical aluminium fins and a steel structure skeleton, which offer sun-shading and dynamic articulation. Clear glass walls on the ground floor provide transparency and connectivity to the lush landscape outside, while the upper level requires limited views, maintaining visual focus within the auditorium.

Internally, the layout is functionally zoned with training rooms, breakout spaces, and a generous lobby. These are complemented by informal areas such as a pantry and relaxation zones to foster casual interaction. The scheme integrates sustainable strategies including rainwater harvesting, solar power, and energy monitoring systems. More than just a convention space, the design embodies Hartalega’s values—innovation, community, and continuous learning—making it a hub for both formal events and casual engagement.
