A·SCEN·DAS
DESIGN GROUP
Ascendas Design Group is an architecture and interior design practice based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Through Ascendas Architects and Ascendas Interior, we design homes, workplaces, commercial buildings, high-rise and landed housing, and industrial facilities across Malaysia.
Founded by Ar. Idr. Phang Mun Kien, Founder & CEO, the group is led by him and Ar. Lim Teck Lon (Delon), both registered professional architects in Malaysia since 2018, together with a team of creative professionals from diverse design backgrounds. We believe great architecture is a harmonious balance between purpose, functionality and aesthetics. Our aim is to deliver not just design, but thoughtful built solutions that merge beauty with utility.
Working primarily across Malaysia, Ascendas has contributed to a wide spectrum of projects, including private residences, commercial and institutional buildings, high-rise and landed housing, industrial facilities and interiors for homes and offices.
We support our clients from the first concept through to completion. We value collaboration, clear communication and long-term relationships. To us, good design is more than a beautiful drawing: it is the foundation of meaningful, enduring spaces.
our mission
To create enduring architecture that enriches lives and elevates the quality of the built environment.
our vision
To embrace the future of architecture through technology and innovation, evolving into an architect-led developer.
No commission!
As architects, we are proud to say that over the many years we have been practicing, we have never accepted even a single cent from our suppliers, contractors, or any other stakeholders who could benefit from giving us gifts or tokens. We maintain the highest standards of integrity and conduct ourselves in a way that allows us to stand tall and defend what is right, without facing any undue pressure from those who might try to influence us with money or gifts.
At our firm, we take integrity seriously and strive to set an example for everyone we work with. We believe a clean building industry is the key to a sustainable and ethical profession. We are committed to doing our part to make honesty, transparency and ethical behaviour the norm.
