The client's childhood home, a single-story link house on a corner lot, held sentimental value as it witnessed the growth of his family. After achieving great success in business, he wished to renovate the dilapidated house into a double-story so his parents could continue living there comfortably.

To achieve this, the design team decided to strip everything down and start anew. While keeping in mind the owner's practical and uncomplicated nature, they opted for a simple architectural design that utilized basic building materials. To add character and distinction to the home, the team introduced a curved edge as a unique feature.
